Our Story

At Nussbaumer & Clarke, Inc., we take pride in our long and storied history, which spans over eighty-eight years. Founded in 1933 by Newell L. Nussbaumer and Irving Clarke, our firm has evolved over the decades to become a leading provider of engineering and land surveying services in the western regions of New York State and Pennsylvania.

Our History

Nussbaumer & Clarke, Inc. has undergone several transformations throughout its history. In 1948, Charles R. Velzy joined the partnership, and the firm became Nussbaumer, Clarke & Velzy. Later, in 1961, the partnership reorganized, and the name was reverted to Nussbaumer & Clarke, Inc. Over the years, the firm has had several owners, including Walter E. Roeder, who held ownership from 1984 until 2000. In 2017, Michael J. Borowiak and Michael T. Marino took the reins, continuing the proud tradition of providing outstanding engineering and surveying services to our clients.
