Our History

Whirlwind Engineering's sister company, Mulco Engineering, was founded in 1900 in Aberdeen, Scotland by Adolf Robert Muller. With a rich history dating back over a century, our company has evolved from its humble beginnings in the agricultural implement industry to become a leading provider of singulation, processing, and handling equipment. Our founder, Adolf Muller, was a visionary entrepreneur who invented the Marvel keyless chuck, a hand-operated washing machine, and a cow tail clip that prevented dairy cows from kicking over milk buckets or swishing their tails during milking. His legacy continued to inspire innovation within the company, as his son, Ernst Muller, joined Mulco Products after World War II and helped modernize, automate, and electrify bakeries throughout Great Britain.
