Our story began in the 1940s, when our founder, Larry Templeton, learned the construction trade from his father, Bob Templeton, a World War II veteran who served in the Naval Construction Force, also known as the Seabees.
Our History
We started as an earthwork and demolition company, serving a wide range of project sizes and types. With early success, we grew to over 35 employees and 30 pieces of equipment. In the 1980s, we began to focus on military and government contracts, which became a significant part of our business. Our partnership with the military community allowed us to develop innovative solutions to complex construction challenges.
Today, Templeton Engineering Inc. is a HUBzone Certified Small Business with an excellent EMR rating and a DART rating of zero. We are proud of our environmental practices, with CARB-compliant equipment and a fleet of over 25 pieces of equipment. Our team is committed to advancing environmental practices and reducing our ecological footprint.
