Our firm was founded in 1979 by Frank C. Brace, a distinguished engineer with an impressive background in civil and structural engineering. Frank's vision was to create a firm that combines sound professional practices with practical and innovative solutions, resulting in low-cost construction and maintenance.

After serving in the U.S. Army, Frank graduated from Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University) in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He began his engineering career at John M. Sweeney and furthered his education by completing a Master of Science in Civil Engineering in 1963 from Carnegie Institute of Technology. Following his tenure at John M. Sweeney and Service Bureau Corporation, Frank co-founded Marshall and Brace in 1970. In 1979, he established Brace Engineering, Inc., which has since completed over 5,000 projects, earning a reputation for quality, value, and leadership in the engineering industry.

Today, Brace Engineering, Inc. continues its commitment to excellence under the leadership of David A. Brace, P.E. as President and Joseph J. Cherichetti, Jr., P.E. as Vice-President.
