With years of experience providing top engineering solutions within the New Jersey & New York area, we have established ourselves as a leading structural engineer in NJ, NY, PA, and CT.

Our story began in 2010 when Eric Lahita, PE, founded Lahita Engineering. With a license from the State of New York since 2006, Eric decided to follow his dream of working as an engineering consultant. He started working for several large heavy civil contractors on deep foundation projects in the tri-state area and soon began working with Hoboken and Jersey City residential developers, as well as acting as a subcontractor to architectural firms; creating structural sets of drawings.

Today, Lahita Engineering employs a team of full-time junior engineers (EIT's) and is steadily growing to keep up with the Tri-State Area's bustling economy. Our core values revolve around safety, integrity, and a commitment to providing the best possible result. We understand the importance of meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality, and we work tirelessly to deliver high-quality results efficiently and professionally.

Our team is led by Eric G. Lahita, PE, who serves as the President and Engineer. Ehsan Hekmat, PE, and Edwin Puma, PE, are also integral members of our team. Together, we have a deep understanding of what our partners need and strive to provide exceptional service and support throughout every project.

Lastly, our marine engineering services focus on providing engineering solutions for waterfront properties, including dock design, seawall repair, and coastal protection.
