Who We Are

Henry, Meisenheimer & Gende, Inc. (HMG), dba HMG Engineers, Inc., is a 100% employee-owned consulting engineering firm headquartered in Breese, Illinois. We have been a leader in professional engineering for transportation and water infrastructure since 1966, serving clients in Illinois and throughout the Midwest. From small villages to major metropolitan areas, municipal MFT projects to major interstates, main extensions to state-of-the-art treatment facilities, we are large enough to handle multiple large projects and small enough to provide personalized service.

Our Mission

Our mission is to meet the needs of our clients by providing quality engineering services to support sustainable infrastructure for future generations. We offer active involvement of principals on projects, integrated multi-discipline solutions, application of appropriate technologies, creative and innovative solutions, high ethical standards, stability with low personnel turnover, and effective communication.

Our Services

We provide a range of services including Transportation, Structures, Water Supply, Wastewater, Water Resources, Surveying & Geomatics, and Municipal projects. Our expertise includes engineering design and solutions for transportation infrastructure such as highways, interstates, and local roads; water supply systems including treatment facilities and distribution networks; wastewater management systems including treatment plants and collection systems; water resources management including reservoirs and flood control measures; surveying and geomatics services including land surveying and mapping; and municipal projects including public buildings and infrastructure.
