Your partner for successful construction projects

Red Swing Consulting Services, the civil engineering division of Red Swing Group, prioritizes the building and maintenance of robust relationships with its clients above all else. The mutually beneficial relationships we forge with our clients are the foundation of solid business partnerships, which is how we view our clients - as partners. We offer complete land development consulting services, guiding a project from its inception to construction. Our expertise spans various sectors, including public, private, and commercial clients. Our small and nimble approach allows us to maximize the return on investment through a collaborative design process while maintaining a low impact and sustainable design philosophy.

Our History: The Red Swing

The Red Swing is an actual porch-style swing built years ago by the late Grandfather of Red Swing Group's owner, Matthew Smith. This swing, constructed from white oak sourced from the Smith family farm in Jefferson County, holds immense personal significance for Matthew. Many impactful conversations with his Grand-Pap on this swing shaped Matthew's values and principles, which he has carried over to his personal and professional life. These core values - fostering trust, showing integrity, being ethical, and thinking smart - form the foundation of Red Swing Group.

The Birth of Red Swing Group

Red Swing Consulting Services, LLC was founded by Matthew Smith in January 2009 in the wake of the economic downturn. Initially starting with a few projects, Red Swing strategically added staff and opened an office in Murrysville, PA, as the work volume grew. Today, we have a full complement of staff from administration to project management, supporting a variety of projects and meeting the needs of our clients. Our aim is to maintain controlled growth, build on existing and new business relationships, provide exceptional service, and create a desirable environment for our staff and clients.
