Our History
Odyssey Engineering, a Reno-Sparks based civil engineering firm, was founded in 1990 with a mission to provide exceptional client service and build lasting relationships. Our purpose is simple: to be the go-to civil engineering firm in Northern Nevada, delivering high-quality services that exceed our clients' expectations.
Our Team
Our team of experienced professionals is led by two founders, Frank Bidart, PE, and Gabe Wittler, PE. Frank, a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Nevada, has over 30 years of experience in civil engineering. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, Frank has worked on numerous projects that have shaped the landscape of the Truckee Meadows. Gabe, also a registered Professional Engineer in Nevada, California, and Colorado, has 18 years of experience in civil engineering. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, Gabe has performed all facets of land development services for commercial, residential, and public works projects.

Our Survey Department
Our survey department is led by Kelly (Rusty) Combest, PLS, a registered Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Nevada. With over 25 years of experience, Rusty has a deep understanding of the surveying process. Together with his team, including Shawn McDonough, PLS, and Seth McDonough, our surveyors will work closely with our civil engineers to ensure accurate and precise measurements.
