JKC Engineering is a professional civil engineering and surveying firm incorporated in the State of Wyoming and the State of North Dakota. JKC Engineering's team of professionals includes a professional engineer, a professional surveyor, as well as highly experienced engineering and survey technicians utilizing Autodesk Civil3d, ESRI GIS, and Trimble software and survey equipment. Our team is well equipped to take on nearly any task.

JKC Engineering provides civil engineering services for a wide variety of projects. We have provided engineering for subdivisions, multi-family developments, commercial developments, industrial sites, water distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection, stormwater management, septic systems, and reservoirs. We also offer construction management services, including payment applications, shop drawing review, inspection services with daily logs of progress and conditions. In addition, we provide as-built services such as surveying and final drawings.
JKC Engineering has worked with developers and homeowners on issues related to FEMA regulated floodplains and floodways. We provide elevation certificates, no-rise certificates, LOMA submittals, LOMR submittals, and guidance on floodplain development regulations.
Our land surveying services include property surveys, topographic surveys, site inventory, construction staking, ALTA/NSPS surveys, easements documents, subdivision plats, well plats, and pipeline routing. We also offer aerial (UAV/drone) surveying.
JKC Engineering's GIS mapping technicians are equipped to map just about any data that our clients wish. Custom maps with a hybrid topographic and aerial imagery are our specialty and can be overlayed with any relevant data necessary for planning large-scale projects and infrastructure. Our custom drafting department provides a wide range of drafting services. We have provided drafting support for process schematics, industrial site process plans, patent drawings, plot plans, and paper to CAD conversions. JKC Engineering also utilizes a Schonstedt TraceMaster II underground utility line locator to locate pipelines and underground utilities. After an underground utility is located, we collect the location using survey-grade GPS and geotagged photos of all above-ground appurtenances and provide the data in a shapefile, google earth file, or any other format needed. We can also use this data to provide the client with easement exhibits or other printed maps.
