WESI Land Use Consultants, LLC is a full-service land use consultant, field-to-finish land surveying and civil engineering firm based in Marysville. Our History
Mike Long founded WESI Land Use Consultants LLC, after literally being raised in the industry. At the age of 12, he began working on a survey field crew during summer breaks. Prior to his father's partial retirement, Mike was solely responsible for the Land Survey Department for more than 15 years as well as running the day-to-day operations of Western Engineers & Surveyors, Inc. Being immersed in a family business from a very early age has given Mike a well-rounded education with business acumen and insight the one gets working with family and close-knit, ever-growing community.
Our Services
We offer a range of services, including Land Use & Planning, Land Surveying, and Civil Engineering. Our Land Use & Planning services include comprehensive planning, zoning ordinances, and feasibility studies. Our Land Surveying services include boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction surveys. Our Civil Engineering services include site design, grading, and drainage.
Our Team
Our team is led by Mike Long, a Service Disabled American Veteran with over 35 years of experience in the Survey & Engineering industry. Ken Long, PLS, corporate surveyor, founded Western Engineers & Surveyors, Inc after serving in Special Forces during Vietnam. Timothy Sarkela, Corporate Engineer, leads the Engineering department and has been with WESI since 2014.
