Flight Testing and Certification

We are experts in flight testing and certification, offering a comprehensive range of services to ensure the safety and airworthiness of aircraft. Our team of experienced FAA DERs (Designated Engineering Representatives) and DARs (Designated Airworthiness Representatives) assists in the application process to obtain FAA certification for those programs that require it. We have participated in numerous STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) programs, including Turbo-prop and turbo-fan re-engineering, Hush kit noise reduction, avionics and electrical systems modification, and more.

Certification Program Management

As a seasoned FAA certification team, we utilize skilled FAA DERs and DARs to assist in the application process for obtaining FAA certification. We have participated in a wide range of STC programs, including winglet and wing re-contouring, fuselage stretching, voice alert cockpit warning systems, and more. Our services include flutter substantiation, performance verification, systems verification, handling qualities substantiation, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing, among others.

Production Engineering & Manufacturing

At Alligator, Inc., we understand the importance of precision engineering and manufacturing. Our experienced team has successfully conducted numerous production runs to support various aircraft development and certification programs. We can provide overall program and airplane operations management, flight and ground crews, test equipment, and facilities, data processing equipment, and services, and liaison with the FAA for certification.
