Our Story

Wenzlau Engineering, Inc. was founded in 1956 with a mission to provide engineering solutions for the protection and mobilization of sophisticated electronic systems. From humble beginnings, we have evolved into a leader in the manufacturing and supply of sophisticated power products, turn-key electronic equipment integration, and product logistics offerings.

Our journey began when Bill Wenzlau, Sr. decided to create an engineering-focused company specializing in providing solutions for mobile ground equipment. Initially, we modified ice cream trucks to create mobile data vehicles for monitoring rocket launches. Over time, we started building custom platforms, providing power, cooling equipment, and integrating complex electronic systems.

Sixty years later, Bill Wenzlau, Jr. presides over the business his father created, and we remain true to the original focus and mission: engineering solutions for mobile applications. We have diversified from primarily serving defense-related products to becoming a leader in the manufacturing and supply of sophisticated power products, turn-key electronic equipment integration, and product logistics offerings.
