Who We Are
CKR Engineers has been providing structural engineering design services since its formation in 2002. Our design experience includes multi-story commercial construction, large custom homes, precast concrete parking structures, industrial facilities, schools, and many other projects. This varied experience allows us to provide our clients with the most cost-effective designs and solutions. We are licensed in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
Our Services
Whether you are building a single-story, single-family home, or a 10,000 square foot or larger multi-story residence, we can provide you with the framing plans, details, and calculations necessary to obtain a building permit. With experience designing houses of all shapes and sizes, we can work with you, your home designer, or your architect to streamline the design process and give you the house you want. Our designs are thorough and detailed such that your builder should have few, if any, questions during construction. If questions do arise, a quick phone call to our office can provide answers. With five licensed engineers on staff, someone is always available.
Additionally, we have the capability to work with you to create architectural plans for single- and two-story single-family homes. This will save you having to hire someone else to provide the architectural design.
Precast Concrete Foundations
We have the experience you need for the concrete foundation design for your pre-engineered steel building. Having designed over a thousand foundations for pre-engineered steel buildings, we can make your experience as streamlined and hassle-free as possible. Our experience ranges from 1500 to 200,000 square foot and larger buildings in all types of soil conditions. Working with your contractor and your building manufacturer, we will provide structural drawings, calculations, and details for an efficient and cost-effective foundation.

In general, reviewers have praised the company for their professionalism, responsiveness, and timeliness. David Mefford, who has worked with the company for over 15 years, found them to be responsive, professional, and reasonably priced. Scottie Hamann, who deals with fire and flood restoration, appreciates the company's swift and professional assistance.
Negative Experiences
On the other hand, Eileen F. had a terrible experience with the company, claiming they billed her $50 for a 30-minute phone call, higher rates than overseas companies, and refused to provide a design they claimed they would deliver. She accused the company of being thieves and shysters, and recommended reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.
