Geotechnical & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (GEC) is a leading engineering consulting firm with a strong presence in Columbus, Macon, and LaGrange, Georgia. Established in 1991 as Geosciences, Inc., the firm underwent a corporate restructuring in 1999, leading to its current name and the establishment of its Macon corporate and Columbus branch offices. GEC expanded its Columbus footprint in 2006 with the acquisition of Hill-Staton Engineers, Inc., and further strengthened its presence with a branch in LaGrange, Georgia.
