Andrews, Hammock & Powell, Inc. is a multi-disciplined consulting firm with over 30 years of experience in the engineering industry. Founded in 1988, our firm consists of mechanical and electrical engineers, commissioning agents, construction administrators, and support personnel. Our principals are actively involved in the design of every project, ensuring design excellence and productive outcomes. We have built strong relationships with our clients over the years, and our practice has grown through repeat work and referrals.

2. *Commissioning*: Our team of certified NEBB commissioning and TAB agents ensure that the mechanical and electrical equipment is commissioned and operating as specified, meeting the Owner's Project Requirements (OPRs).
3. *Construction Administration*: Our full-time construction administration department, headed by Jim Hughes, P.E., ensures that the construction materials and workmanship comply with the Contract Documents, expediting submittal reviews, answering RFIs, and managing change orders to keep the construction progressing.
4. *Sustainable Design*: We incorporate sustainable design principles into our projects, aiming to reduce energy consumption, minimize environmental impact, and improve occupant comfort.
Our Projects
We have a diverse portfolio of projects across various industries, with thousands of projects completed for hundreds of clients. Some of our recent projects include:
1. *Morrow High School*: We designed the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for this new, state-of-the-art high school in Clayton County, featuring cutting-edge technology and an emphasis on energy efficiency.
2. *Upson-Lee High School Agriculture Center*: Our team provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for this new Agriculture Center, featuring an outdoor covered barn, holding pens, and a 10,000 sq.ft show arena.
3. *Birch Creek Elementary School - Construction Progress*: We are currently providing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for this new elementary school, including the construction of a new bridge over wetlands for access to the school.
