At Comprehensive Engineering, P.C., we are a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, providing engineering services to the building design and construction industry since 1993. Our firm's principals, Ken Reigler, PE; John Corrigan, PE; and Gordy Sible, PE, are licensed engineers who manage and lead each project from concept to completion. • Structural Engineering: Our structural engineering services include the analysis and design of buildings, foundations, and industrial structures. • Mechanical Engineering: Our mechanical engineering services include HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and piping, manufacturing ventilation, and process engineering studies. We have experience with central air handling systems, central boiler chiller plants, wood pellet boilers, fan coil systems, water source heat pumps, and underfloor air distribution systems.
• Electrical Engineering: Our electrical engineering team has the experience and knowledge to efficiently design electrical systems that meet the requirements of your project. We will specify equipment and fixtures fitting the requirements of life safety while maintaining the appropriate design.
• Civil Engineering: Our civil engineering services include site layout, design of roads, parking areas, access drives, walkways, curb cuts, and barrier-free access design. We maximize development areas and have experience in the design of public and private roads, stormwater management, storm and sanitary sewer, water mains, and on-site sewage treatment systems.
• Forensic Engineering: Our forensic engineering services investigate and analyze methods of structural failures. We work with you to understand your needs and requests for the structure in question. We are adept in identifying structural damage and deliver reports summarizing our findings on the current state of the structure.
